• Diamond Drilling

The track-mounted wall saw is a fast, neat method of forming larger openings using diamond blades.
Self-propelled floor saws are inexpensive and ideal for surfaces such as car parks, roads and floors.
A diamond impregnated wire, fed through a series of pulleys to produce a cutting facility to cope with any depth or shape of concrete structure.

• Silent Concrete Crunching

Available in 250mm, 300mm and 350mm capacities, the silent crusher uses giant claws to reduce concrete to rubble quickly without noise, vibration or water.

• Controlled Demolition

Using any combination of our specialist operations, Southern Drilling can advise on and undertake any aspect of controlled demolition, in areas where minimal disruption and minimal noise requirements are paramount.

• Concrete Bursting

A special process of drilling a pattern of holes to form a plane of weakness and then employing expanding hydraulic bursters or grout to induce cracking into the mass.

• Chasing

Using diamond blades to form chases for conduits, pipes, tuck in for asphalt, in all types of brickwork and block work, including plastered and rendered surfaces, concrete and screeds, we also have the facilities for limited dust control.

• Percussive Drilling

For all types of brickwork, block work and concrete (both hollow section and solid section), using tungsten carbide-tipped rotary percussive drills for forming holes for lighting points, pipework, ducting, overflows, etc.

• Fixing of Bolt Anchors

Fixing of all types of anchor systems for repair work or steel erection, etc.

• Grouting

Approved applicators of all cementations and epoxy grouts in situations including industrial machine bases, fixings and general consolidation.

Hydraulic testing of anchor bolts to assess design loads or testing to failure with written reports.
